Your photo shoot is approaching! YAY! It's a very exciting time with all sorts of big things happening for you. Senior activities, graduation parties, getting invitations out, the ACTUAL graduation, planning what's next....it's a lot! I'm here to help ease a bit of your stress. You're probably trying to decide what to wear to your senior photo shoot, so I'm popping in to give you a few ideas to help you decide.
If you're choosing to pose in your cap & gown (which I RECOMMEND!), that obviously helps narrow things down.
But what about what to wear under the gown?
Let's get to it!
The most important thing when it comes to deciding what to wear for your session, is to
wear something you feel great in.
We all have that one outfit we feel amazing in...and confidence is the best look on camera. In the end, it doesn't matter what color "they say" looks best on your skin. It matters if YOU feel great in it! That is always the most beaufiul thing to wear.
If you're still stuck, let's break it down.
I've collected a few resources online to aid in finding what looks best for each skin type. I took the test and was amazed at what I found.

Now that you've narrowed it down to what color you want to wear, let's figure out what type of outfit you want!
Pro Tip: Try to avoid small pinstripe or busy patterns on your outfit for your session. This tends to distort the image and take away the focus from yourself.

Full sessions allow for multiple outfit changes plus cap & gown
Mini sessions allow for one outfit plus cap & gown
SENIOR GIRLS
Flowy dresses always make for a goregous aesthetic in photos. Whether you prefer a short, midi, or maxi length, the outcome is sure to be stunning. Just be sure to watch out for anything boxy.
This style is what I recommend the most for senior girls!
Dress poses of twirling and holding out the fabric creates a ton of photo possiblities and a beautiful feminine feel.

Cute tops and bottoms offer a more casual feel to photos. This can be perfect if you want to go for a more everyday feel aesthetic.
A bonus to this wardrobe option is that you feel comfortable in your session attire. This prevents that awful stiff feeling when you just can't wait to get the session done and over with to go change clothes. I want you to feel your best in your session.
